  2. $47,000 on an Hyundai? Idk about that. I could buy a New Toyota and a Volkswagen for that price. Top quality ones GT86 and a Golf GTI.

  3. I don't always drive my third gen
but when I do people always stare, some honk and wave. Clean 89 Firebird Formula 350 tpi with cold ac black with ttops. She may be a little high maintenance and have a little baggage from time to time but I'll love her forever.

  4. Most new generation ladies drive their cars really really hard, do no any maintenance so their men go out and buy them a new one.
    Happy wife, happy Life 😂😂😂

  5. did you really say kilometers??? we are in america! say what we use! who cares what the foreigners think!. they can have their stupid metric system/.

  6. I own a 2002 Hyundai Santa fe with a 2.7 V6. I currently have 207,000 miles and everything works and drives like new

  7. Had a 2001 V6 auto. The trans got stupid at 24,000. Dealer re flashed it successfully every 2000 miles 3 times….Had to go away.

  8. Did she pay $39k USD for Tucson? I am leasing one for $229/m w/ $0 down on 36m. And my "front collision warning" is NOT working well. It only beeps 1 out of 12 times, when it should & I have it on "early." So, would I trust it to hit the breaks for me? NOT A CHANCE!
If it goes well for the next 36m & exterior hold paint etc…, then I will consider a purchase at the end of the lease for $13k. This was an emergency purchase, as per a pretty skirt & the pandemic surge in used car prices. I'm likely back to my frugal self & buy used cheap.
Notice, I leased 2021 & NOT 2022. Never buy on the model change or major upgrade!
Scotty, you keep saying 80's & 90's cars are better. I was in garage body repair business back in the 90's. We always said these craps are not quite up to snuff of '60s or '70s. Back to the future, Hah!
Got my wife a brand new S80 when I got married, which expired only a few years prior to being divorced. I should have got her a Lexus (used)?

  9. What sucks about those older Escapes is they have sealed transmissions. You cant repair them. DOHC 3.0V6 are Peppy engines for sure!

  10. (long nasal exhale) There's just too much to know. Every time I've gone to a private dealer I've been reamed. Maybe I looked for a rusty frame (they painted over it), looked for flecks under the hood (no leaking, but engine is cracked and they'd cleaned any mess), test drive (they all last a week before dying, flywheel teeth wearing out, didn't become a problem until they wore down enough to slip a few months later), and has anyone dealt with a private owner or dealer who just lets up put on an obd2? Or let you take the car to a mechanic before buying? There's only one piece of advice that works in our system. Be rich. Don't be not rich.

  11. My 2007 corolla is about to hit 400,000km & my mechanic says I’ve barely scratched the surface on the engine 😂. The road to 1 million! absolute workhorse!

  12. ! i have a 2010 Mercury Mariner 25,000 miles….love the Mariners……………….yes people are nagging me to buy it………..! also had a 2005 Mariner the neighbor bought…still going strong

  13. Newer vehicles cheap out by using cheap parts to save on manufacturing costs while increasing sales prices.

  14. I've been waiting forever for a Ford Escape video Scotty, Awesome! FordTechmakuloco always says the 3.0L V6 it's one of the most reliable ford engines
